To join us at the Ranch, you'll want to talk with Aubrie Franklin, our Equine Care and Hospitality Manager. Aubrie's knowledge in the equine industry stems from 20 years of coaching, apprentice opportunities and internships in various disciplines such as show jumpers, reining, cowboy mounted shooting and barrel racing.
She began her equine journey in the english saddle, competing in the jumper ring from ages six to eighteen. A few months after attending college at Valdosta State University, her passion for rodeo and barrel racing took over. She currently has two horses, Playboy and FloJo. She has high hopes of success for both her horses in the show pen through hard work, determination and consistency. She looks forward to helping you achieve your equine goals.
Our entire team works hard to give you a space to thrive! It's our mission is to provide our guests with an opportunity to grow in the art of horsemanship and environmental stewardship.
Several years ago, Dick and Brigitte Blaudow were drawn to move from Illinois to North Florida to enjoy some warmer weather. Dick stepped away from a thriving company in Illinois, and the move allowed him to pursue a new passion.
As a child, Dick owned one horse that sparked an early interest in horsemanship. After years of focusing on work and other responsibilities, Dick was pulled back to his childhood love for horses.
So, in the summer of 2019, Dick and Brigitte started the Ranch as a personal “labor of love”. With the help of a dedicated team caring for the horses and property on a daily basis, the Ranch became a fully functioning equine and recreation facility for so many to enjoy!
